Tree Shape G Burr With Pointed End

POINTED TREE SHAPE PREMIUM TUNGSTEN CARBIDE BURR– ¼” shank pointed tree shape burrs are great for processing small places, acute angled contour and sharp angled areas. Due to the extreme hardness of this tungsten carbide, it can be used on much more demanding jobs than HSS (High-Speed Steel). These carbide burrs are made of tungsten carbide burr die grinder bits and will start to soften at higher temperatures, so carbide is always the best choice for long-term performance. Double cut or Cross cut carbide burrs tend to be used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, soft steel, and also for all non-metal materials such as stone, plastics, hard wood, and ceramic. Double cut burrs will leave a slightly smoother finish than single cut due to producing smaller chips as they cut away the material. Use for medium stock removal, deburring, finishing, and cleaning. A double-cut carbide burr is the most popular cut and will see you through most applications.

    How Carbide Burrs Work

Carbide burrs, also known as rotary files or die grinder burrs, are small cutting tools used in various applications. They're crafted from tungsten carbide for superior hardness, allowing them to cut through diverse materials like metal, wood, and plastics. These rotary files work by spinning at high RPMs to smoothly remove material and shape surfaces. With various flute geometries, they excel in deburring techniques, achieving precise surface finishing with minimal chip removal.
